Description
The Tamiya 95463 Thunder Shot Mk.II Clear Special is a 1/32 scale Mini 4WD Pro racer assembly kit. It features a lightweight polycarbonate body, making it ideal for racing on Tamiya circuits due to its low center of gravity. This kit is a special re-issue with race-friendly features and an adaptable MS chassis.
Key features
Chassis: The kit is built on the MS (mid-ship) chassis, which consists of three snap-together sections (N-02, lightweight center, and T-01). This design offers excellent rigidity and places the double-shaft motor and batteries in the center for optimal weight distribution and stability.
Body: The body is molded from a clear, 0.4mm thick polycarbonate, making it significantly lighter than the standard version. Clear-type stickers are included to decorate the body.
Wheels and tires: It comes with silver, large-diameter narrow wheels and black barrel tires that feature pad-printed white “TAMIYA SPORTS MINI 4WD” sidewall lettering.
Motor and drivetrain: A double-shaft Type 130 motor is included in the kit. It also features lightweight hollow shafts to improve performance.
Assembly: The kit features easy snap-together assembly. It does not require glue, but tools like a modeling knife and side cutters are recommended for preparing the body.
Required items: Two AA batteries are required and are sold separately.
