The Tamiya 95156 is a limited-edition HG Carbon Rear Brake Stay (1.5mm) for Mini 4WD model cars, originally released for the Japan Cup 2023 racing series. It is an upgrade part designed to improve a Mini 4WD car’s stability and braking performance on the track.
Product Details and Features
Material and Rigidity: The stay is made from 1.5mm-thick carbon fiber, providing high rigidity and light weight compared to its FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Plastic) equivalents.
Design: It features a large surface area for attaching a brake sponge (sold separately) and multiple holes for attaching mass dampers and other Grade-Up parts, allowing for versatile setup options.
Aesthetics: The carbon fiber pattern gives the car a premium, racier look, enhanced by special yellow-green “JAPAN CUP 2023” logos and stripes printed on the surface. Note that cleaners should not be used on the printed area as the print may come off.
Function: Brakes are a vital accessory for courses with elevation changes and jumps, as they help to stabilize the car and prevent it from flying off the track.
Compatibility: The stay is compatible with a wide range of Tamiya Mini 4WD chassis, including MA, MS, FM-A, AR, Super-II, Super X, Super XX, Super TZ-X, VZ, and VS chassis, though some chassis and body modifications may be required for installation.
Included Accessories: The package includes the carbon stay itself, along with necessary mounting screws and aluminum collars.
