The Tamiya 95409 is a 1/32 scale Variatron (VS Chassis) Mini 4WD assembly kit. It is a re-release of a classic model first issued in 1999 and was featured in the Japanese comic Future Racer V-Twin.
Product features
Body design: The car features a futuristic, mechanical body with a distinctive transparent “Braincore” dome, represented by clear parts. It is molded in blue PS plastic, while the chassis and A parts are black.
Chassis: The Variatron uses the lightweight VS chassis, which is known for its short wheelbase and excellent cornering ability.
Wheels and tires: It includes white, large-diameter Aerodisk dish wheels paired with black slick tires.
Engine nozzles: The engine nozzles are separate parts from the main body.
Movable wings: The two-piece rear wing can be moved.
Customization: The transparent “Braincore” can be fitted with separately sold LEDs for a custom look.
Required parts: A Type 130 motor and two AA batteries are required and sold separately.
Accessories: The kit includes stickers to apply to the body for additional detail.
